I had to share this with all of you because this article just proves even more how much of an amazing man of God Tim Tebow is. I hope through the NFL, many people see his faith and learn from him and want to learn more about God. I hope one day I find and spend the rest of my life with a man like this...Tim Tebow is the full package. He has an incredible story! I respect him more than any other person that is famous and I CANNOT wait to read his autobiography!
I know the article is kind of long, but it is completely worth it to read the whole thing :) ENJOY!!!! i know you will ;)

Here come the midterms...
Well, so far this semester has gone great! I scored a 93 on my first anatomy exam, which I am beyond thrilled about! I would say anatomy is my favorite class I have had to take here at Seton Hall. On the unfortunate side, I have a few midterms coming up, which means I will have to live in the library the next couple weeks and dissociate myself from the world :( That's never fun...The last thing I want to sacrifice is my social life. HAHA. But you gotta do what ya gotta do. My goal is to get a 3.8 GPA this semester. Nothing is impossible, right? I just gotta keep pressing on.
I also just adapted a new healthy eating and exercise lifestyle. My mom and I decided we are going to cut out sugar for the next 2 weeks to see if we feel any better- more energy and healthy. So far, I feel amazing and I am only on my 3rd day! I also adapted a new exercise routine. Before this plan, I would exercise everyday doing Nike Training Club. Now, with a 18 mile run a year from now, I do cardio 5 days a week, and strength training, including NTC 3 times a week. I feel so healthy already.
You might ask, why all the sudden are you adapting this extreme lifestyle? Well, the other day, I was really depressed about my weight and body shape and knew I had to change right away....So, i nipped it in the bud and started and thank God I have such a supportive mother!!!

So far, the house I am living in with the 5 other girls is going great! We are having such a wonderful time together and there is never a dull moment. It is very different living on your own and paying bills and grocery shopping for yourself. But I kind of like the independency and not having to depend on my parents. I'm finally growing up haha.
My family just went pumpkin and apple picking as well! That was a blast and was so nice to be with my family for the weekend. Hudsyn, my nephew, loved it and enjoyed eating the apples. So adorable. Also, that same weekend, my parents celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary! I hope to have the love they have for each other one day!

Well, I hope everyone is doing well, and I will check back in after my midterms.

Is it really my third year already?
I am sitting in class waiting for my professor to show up and thinking...is this really my third year already?? It is absolutely insane to think that I will be getting my bachelor's degree at the end of this year and I am one more year closer to becoming a Doctor of Physical Therapy! This year, a lot of things have changed. I am no longer commuting and now have a house with 5 other girls only a couple blocks away from campus! It is going to be one exciting year in that house! And now I am finally starting to take classes that are good use for my major and not just core classes for the university. Granted I still have a few, but some of them I will put to good use when I graduate. I am most excited about my anatomy and physiology course! That, I think, will be a lot of fun! I am hoping to volunteer at Hospital for Special Surgery this fall and get into their sports rehabilitation and performnce center to shadow of few of their therapists. Some of those therapists are team PT's for the Giants, Mets, Red Bulls, USA Swimming and many more pro teams! I am very excited for that. I am also hoping to go on a Mission's trip with the group, Athletes in Action, during winter break, so I will keep you posted on the details of that trip! I hope everyone has a wonderful fall!

Wrapping up the summer...
I can't thank the Lord enough for the amazing summer I was blessed with. From family vacations to missions trips to running a five mile race, the whole summer was filled with adventure and excitement! I ended my sophomore year with a great GPA and had over a month to relax before I started work in June. I spent that time with my family, friends, and at my favorite place in the world...Barnegat Light! In June, I started nannying for the greatest family ever for my third summer :) They are the most precious kids and I couldnt be more happy to watch them everyday. In July, our family took our annual vacation to Barnegat Light for our two weeks, which included July 4th weekend. No matter how much I go to BL, it just isn't the same without my family there, so when I get to spend 2 weeks with them in my favorite place in the world, I feel very blessed and just thank God for the amazing people and places he has put in my life. After barnegat Light, I was able to go to a different part of the shore to spend a couple days with two of my best friends Steph and Cristina! So happy I got to see them over the summer and not just during the school year!
This year was my nephew, Hudsyn's, first beach trip! He was a little unsure at first, then by the third day, we could not get him away from that water. He loved to let the sand run through his fingers as well. Ah...I just love that little boy!

Speaking of Hudsyn, on August 24th, the little simba turned 1! Can you believe it? Just one year ago, we were all worried about his health because he was a month premature. And now? Well, let's just say he definitely does not look premature, especially with his aunt and grandma feeding him yogurt and cookie non- stop when we have him!

I also attended a mission's trip this summer with my church, Christ the King of Denville. Me, three other leaders, and the youth group went to the Jersey Shore Rescue Mission to "fix it up" and do some cleaning because they just reopened after a few years. We also painted their foyer with their beautiful rich red colors and emblem. On our spare time, we were able to go to Ocean Grove and Belmar to enjoy beautiful beach days. My favorite part of the trip was having devotions on the beach at night. SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!

To think my summer couldn't get any better, it did! I accomplished a 5 mile run with one of my best friends, Chelsea, down in Harvey Cedars in Long Beach Island. We were so proud of ourselves! Chels finished in 45 min and I finished right behind her in 46 min! Go us! Surprisingly, my leg didn't give me too many problems. I got a cramp right by my plates and screws in the 2nd mile which slowed me down a little bit, but I was able to battle back and finish! I can't wait to run it again next year with Chels and maybe even do the 18 mile....Lord willing! I hope everyone had a wonderful summer and unfortunately it is back to school time...

The Beginning of the Summer...
![]() |
| Barnegat Light <3 |
Well, finals are finished FINALLY! The semester has been a bit of a crazy one...very tough, but it's all downhill from here. I am extremely ready for the summer....sand, sun, sea, BARNEGAT LIGHT! My life is barnegat light..I would live there all year round if I could. It's just so peaceful and all my cares just drift away when I step out on our old rickety "shorehouse" porch with an iced tea in my hand and look at the beautiful bay, while I watch the boats go out to sea....It's amazing...that place means so much to me...
Another exciting thing happening in my life is I just began volunteering at Market Street Mission in Morristown. The people that work there have the biggest heart and I pray one day I would have half the heart of the people involved in that mission. I have always been interested in MSM, even when I was performing skits as a 10 year old on Sunday afternoons in their chapel. The men there are so encouraging and bring tears to my eyes after hearing each and every testimony. They sing a song called "Pass Me Not" and everytime I hear it, I just sob...they are amazing men that have gone through such life changing experiences...That song is now one of my favorite songs :) I am excited to start sending my resume out to different hospitals and clinics to start shadowing DPT's. My dream is to get involved with a sports team, so I hope and pray that the Lord blesses me with that opportunity. I would love to work in the MLB (especially the NY Mets) or get involved in the Sports Rehabilitaion Center in the Hospital for Special Surgery in Manhattan...Once again, my dream :)
My best friend Corey just came home from England...Jess and I surprised her at the airport. The three of us are like the 3 musketeers. We have played softball together since we were in the rec league at a very young age. We have gone through some tough times, but I would give anything for those girls. They are my life and are more like sisters. I know they would do the same for me too. You know when you are best friends when you have gone through very, very tough obstacles in your friendship and come out of those times being closer than before. Love you girls!

I am so excited to start the project I am working on for my nephews first birthday (August 24th). I got the supplies the other day and can't wait to work on it! I'll show you the finished product when I am done :)
I hope everyone has a great summer and I will write soon!

My First Blog...
Well, I have finally entered the world of blogging. I decided to create this blog to keep a journal of my life and also for people to be let in on my life. I have been blessed in my life with a magnificent family, amazing friends, and wonderful opportunities and would love to share these blessings with the world in hopes to help or change just one person's life with my words.

It is time to get to know me a little bit ;) I have a loving caring and super close family. My protective dad, Neal, owns his own contruction business working mainly in Central Jersey. However, he is currently working on a job in Arizona and does not let us go through the day without rubbing in that it is 85 degrees there, while it is 45 here. My compassionate mother, Karen, is an administrator's assistant at our local high school. My mom is always there for me through thick and thin. She is there to laugh with me, for me to cry with and be silly with. My hospitable sister is Jenna. My sister and my mother are my BEST friends. I stay at my sister's house every Wednesday night. I love spending time with her and listening to her advice and encouragement. My sister is married to a wonderful man named Seth. They gave birth to my #1 man on August 24, 2010, Hudsyn Rik. Hudsyn is my little "simba". He is my man and I love him more than anything. I could not be a happier Aunt. He was born premie and has scared us a lot with some health issues, but everytime, the Lord has answered our prayers and Hudsyn is now extremely healthy. That little premie boy is now almost seven months old and is wearing 12 month sleepers already! He could be a baby gap model if he wanted to :) My protective brother, Dustin, moved out of our house in October. At first, i was so excited to have the whole upstairs to myself :) The thought of a whole other closet made me jump for joy...but...I must admit I miss him very very very much! He was just here for the weekend with his girlfriend, Becky, to visit and it was so wonderful to spend some time with him! I am the youngest of the three children...yes, I am the baby! I also have a German Shepherd named Razor and an english pointer named Chesney, which has an interesting story behind her....but thats for another day :)

I also have many amazing friends who I love very much! I am moving in with two of my closest friends in August and can't wait!
I am a very fun outgoing person who is always up for a new adventure. I love sports..maybe a little too much, but I was raised with the TV always on ESPN :) I number one love is soccer or futbol! I also am very interested in fashion. I would love to be a personal shopper. I tend to be a little obsessed with fashion and shopping. I am the type of girl who prefers warm weather. If there is a beach and sunshine, I am there!
Right now, I am pursuing my doctorate degree in Physical Therapy at Seton Hall University. It is a seven year program and when I graduate, I hope to work with sports team as their team's physical therapist!
Well, there is a little background on myself and I hope every one of you enjoys reading about the days of me...
